In a sense, this image represents two different situations:
1. Out of the “starting gate” like a shot.
2. Fear of wars, as in Helmet, or more generally, fear of aggression.

In classical depth psychology, a sexual image: emission / ejaculation dream, sexual aggression. It can symbolize the aggressor as well as the victim. This aggression is not necessarily negative, because it can also express sexual freedom, reaching the goal (gratification, orgasm).

To dream that a preacher shoots you, signifies that you will be annoyed by some friend advancing views condemnatory to those entertained by yourself.

If you get shot, you will be annoyed by a nasty person.

2. If someone else is shot, that person is being punished for some shameful action.
