Adream is the subjective experience of mental images, thoughts and sensations, as well as those sounds, voices or words heard during sleep.
According to Freud, there is no original speech or sound in dreams; sounds are derived from what is actually spoken or heard in waking life. Jungians, however, think that the sensation of hearing in dreams is a symbolic representation of an issue troubling you in your life. This is because sounds in dreams have a similar impact on us as they do in waking life. They carry information and can give rise to pleasure, fear, anger and so on, depending on the sound. Therefore if a sound features clearly in your dream, the important thing is first of all to define your feeling reaction to that sound. Ask yourself if the sound is a warning or whether it carries information? Is it a positive sign or does it make you feel anxious?
Sounds can sometimes have great power in dreams and if they cause something to happen, they suggest a use of positive will, a positive and confident expression of your desires that encourages results. Bear in mind, too, that sometimes your dream incorporates sounds such as an alarm clock or the traffic outside your bedroom, weaving them into the dream’s symbolism.

[1]If the sounds that you hear are loud, it is probably that your subconscious is trying to call your attention to a certain issue. The sound of a bugle, for example, represents a warning to be more combatant and alerted to the importance of problems. A whistle, on the other hand, indicates that someone has revealed your clandestine plans or that you are too obedient, like does who follow the calls of their masters. Hearing muted sounds or almost imperceptible voices suggests that you should lend yourself more to what your inner wisdom is telling you. However, sometimes dreams incorporate sounds from real life, like the sound of an alarm or traffic from the street.
According to those that believe in astral voyages, after the first experience one hears a loud and irritating click, mostly when the return to the physical body is too fast. With time and practice, this disappears.
